If blogs are the long tail of knowledge, what are the comments that most blog posts have? Are the comments the long tail of the long tail of knowledge?

And when you are chasing after your own tail, does it make it easier for you if your tail is longer ?
Of course it makes it easier if you have a longer tail.
I just look at my dog and see that its a lot easier with a long tail :-)
